I survived the Corona and all I gave you was this update!

Not dead! Still running a game! Had to update cause I got a new rifle and as always it's inspired me to fix some things!

Core Rulebook

6.37 to 6.38
Added the G36C(Depreciated BlackGhost's Homebrew)
Changed extended barrel so that shotguns can no longer take extended barrel upgrades
Changed suppressive fire to 9 CP
added a 1x-1.49x scope so that there is a "Default" sight level for adjustable sights
Changed Infrared laser Sight to first 2 range increments.
Changed standard laser sight to the first range increment.
Changed grip sight to the first range increment
Reduced the cost of the standard telescopic sights
Changed "Quick draw attack" feat to 2 attacks per turn
Added "Multi throw" Feat
Changed Combat Sheath so that it's more clear they're simple weapons and made them "One size smaller" than the weapons that occupy them
Added "Enthraller" Feat (Thank you ZeroCold!)

Added the "Advanced reloadding kit" that cuts the time down it takes to make ammo and gives a +3, at the cost of more money and more weight
Reformatted how character creation is formatted. it is exactly the same, mechanically.

(Author's note: This was done because it had come to my attention that there was an "Infinite heal" cheat and it was pointless to keep health magic on you. )

This one's gonna be quick, here we go!


Core Rulebook

6.36 to 6.37
Changed Poisons so that they last a day before their effects start to recover
Change antidotes crafting so that you generate 5 antidotes from crafting
Change antidotes so that it allows you to heal 1 additional AB damage per day, per dose when you recover ability damage from poisons
Changed "Treat Poison" to remove the secondary effect
Added "Battle Belt", which is a belt with molle loops
Changed Stumble so that it actually stops the attack
Changed SHield Focus so that it grants critical threat increase and the equipment bonus
Changed SHield Specialist to Shield focus and let it increase the DR of a shield by 1 step

Added shield strike feat.

Modern Magika

Hot fixes!

This one's gonna be really quick. Just a hotfix to AA and Core Rulebook.


I didn't have some of the ranges in parenthesis so I clarified that in AA.

Core got some range changes.


Core Rulebook


6.35 to 6.36
Gave a lot of the permanent optic sight weapons an optics mount so they don't clash with installing an optics mount on a weapon 
Changed the G36K's Range to 105'
Changed Aug Carbine's range to 100'
Changed the G36's Range to 120'
Changed the XM8's range to 120'
Changed the Aug's range to 120'
Changed the USR's range to 120'
Changed the AUG HBAR's range to 130'

Another ghost edit and a few fixes to a few things

First things first!

Ghost edit to Modern Magika, just fixed some issues that someone pointed out here.

Secondly! MRE got updated again, It's actually finished this time after I corrected all the things that I was rushing with

Craft updated FIG 1 and 2 to be in line with the current magic rules for Ops. They are in the download

I also fixed Player Resource guide to reflect the current rules.

A fix to Modern magika and a ghost edit to Core Rulebook (Also I forgot to fix something with MRE so here it is)

There were some persistent issues with modern magika and I just now got around to testing the fixes and pushing them forward, so here we are!

Modern magika

6.26 to 6.27
Changed Evocation in the following ways
All Evocation SP cost for increasing dice and damage dice size changed to 2 SP per increase
Hard cap on dice to 10dice
Changed Necromancy in the following ways
All Necromancy SP cost for increasing damage dice size changed to 3 SP per increase
All Necromancy SP cost for increasing damage dice number changed to 3 SP + 2 SP per increase
Hard cap on the dice to 8 dice
Changed Scroll release CP cost to 10


Core Rulebook

(Ghost Edit) Changed the defense of an object to 10+Agi score+ Item size

Release! Here we go!

First off, lets talk about the new books!

MRE

MRE is the MRE generation book that was ripped from the spiderbot program, and put into book form! It's another little one of those books that I like to write to keep myself sane.


SALT 4

The final(For the moment) book of the SALT series that basically fills out the last few guns that I wanted to add into the SALTs. As I'm basically out of guns I'd want to see in the book, so we're pretty much out of guns for the time being.

Spiderbot, the Program

The program is working once again, thanks to a wonderful programmer, Aurelius. I'm going to take his fixes and run with them. Expect a release soon.

Cleared up Typos
Changed the notion that only certain kind of firearms can use vertical foregrips
Changed the kel-tec SU-16A to a syntetic stock with a breakdown frame.
Clarified that the stock mag pouch can hold mags that hold 40 cased rounds or less, or 6 shelled rounds or less

A real update

Alright, I wanted to post a blog post cause I hadn't posted one in a month so thats what that was.


Here's the real one.

First! Someone (Aurelius) fixed the stand alone spiderbot with the changes I was trying to fix, so I am Extremely appreciative of that. I thank him for that and will be singing his praises forever. I'm going to continue working on it in this state and when it's done, it comes out with all the books as they stand currently.

Secondly, I'm still writing, as indicated before. A few more of the long time players have given me a bunch of stuff I'm adding to AA, and will include some fun new toys for you all to play with.

Thirdly, more fixes, corrections, and things like that, in core, AA, and MM. So expect that. Nothing major, it's all minor crap.

Fourth, Salt 4, which will probably be my last SALT for awhile. It was extremely difficult to find firearms for this one that I actually wanted to include.

Fifth, new book coming out. It's more of a joke book but it's something I needed to turn into paper, so I'm writing it. Look for it.

Another Book Push just before my game!

once again, my great editors found a few more errors so I decided to just increment new versions for AA and MM and post another ghost edit for Core

Below are the changelogs, and I Should be leaving the books alone for a little while. But we'll see.

More ghost edits to fix more things

More ghost edits as the players keep finding small errors

Also, BOTH FIGs were changed as well, so if you have those it's probaby best to download the full stack again.


Most of the ghost edits were minor spelling/notation, but I did change how a variant rule works, the overpen annd missed shots, works, against AP and armor, and overpening cover.

AA also got updated but it's mostly minor notations and things of that notion. Not game breaking in the slightest.

Some players found a really weird edge case in two aspects so I had to correct it.

(Ghost Edit) Added the G43 in battle rifles due to edge case not being able to use it as one.

This was just for the core rulebook. Everything else is fine for now.

Monthly update, and you know, some more news

Alright! Craft updated the FIGs and I had to update the books so new books!

I've decided to (Finally) discontinue support of the versions 5e and 4e because no one plays them anymore and no one cares. They've been up for years and I've yet to get a single question, point, sudgestion, or anything on them. Letting them die.

Corrected grammar and spelling issues
Changed the "Knocked prone" rule to use the identical DC of the explosive that can be knocked prone

So what craft told me is that he changed some creation structure with how Sentiens gain feats. To quote

"The first one is that I changed how Sapient type creatures/monsters gain feats. It is now 1 feat per every two Hit Dice after the first. (Any creatures this would have effected were updated according.)
The second one is notation in the description of Outsider type monsters. Due to their nature as basically supernatural creatures, I have denoted that the GM may determine if such a creature would be able to bleed or not if not otherwise denoted in the creature's profile."

SHOTSHOW SALT RELEASE!

Good Evening!

I'd like to present to you all SALT 3! This one is a bit different since I wanted to do some things for Shotshow, but there really didn't reach out to me all that much that I felt intresting or was of noteworthy that couldn't already be made in the game.

There are some intresting additions, and they are in.

I also promised the homebrewers that I'd take and look through a bunch of things they made and add them to the game if I found them suitable, so SALT 3 contains two new calibers, .280 Brit, and 6.5 Creedmore, as well as guns for both of them. Both of these calibers, and the guns were made by a homebrewerer called BlackGhost, and he's been credited as of such.

Blackghost was the originator of the second iteration of the Text sheet, and he's made a third, and a third and a half, and a Rich Text Format, as well. All of these are in the zip file.

So, I aslo had to make some quick changes in release for this salt. Below are the changelogs to AA and Core. MM didn't get changed.

Book Push for the new year!

This one is just a few "quick" fixes.

Also added a new thing.

SALT 3 is in the works but I'm waiting for SHOTSHOW to finish/start so I can add a bunch of things from it.

All books were updated, including FIG 1 and 2, so grab em all!

Salt 3 will also contain a hand-selected(Read: things I decided was good) from homebrewers (We have homebrewers, it's fucking insane to me) to make them "official". Expect it sometime in febuary. Still slowly churning away with the Survival horror Module as well!

Craft made me update the FIGs.

Craft had me push an update to the FIGs due to something going on with defense scores, so they hvae been updated and the file has been updated with the most recent releases for FIGs.

Per craft:

" Boogieman was updated to be able to heal bleed damage at an accelerated rate because they cannot die from bleed but it would take way too long for them to come back while healing from bleed damage. Shadow crawler warrior breed were updated after some testing with them. Natural armor improvement due to creature advancement (i.e. leveling up) was increased to make it provide actual increases to a creature's Defense score. "


Also, I pushed a non-critical update to the core rulebook, fixing some more spelling errors and typos.

Happy new Year! I had to fix something.

Happy new year!

I had to make the following change in Core rulebook, as someone pointed out these issues

(Ghost Edit) Changed saboted slugs for light shotshells to 10 per 1 WP
(Ghost Edit) Changed Wax Slugs so that they double range increment penalty

Number didn't change cause this isn't a big enough change, but, books are updated.
